This night, Xiangzhe and Shanmei are attending JBC Director Zhao's birthday party. They held hands as they walk through the crowd - they are the perfect couple well loved by everyone: good looking, loving...
"You looked v beautiful today", Xiangzhe told Shanmei softly at her ear.
Shanmei smiling sweetly replied, "Well, its the clothes you bought that is beautiful". This is a fact: the light purple evening gown hugs her figure perfectly.
Xiangzhe beamingly smile and said while nodding his head, "Right, I’ve good taste in choosing clothes and partner (wife).
Shanmei glared at Xiangzhe, oblivious to the crowd around her and her cheeky husband.
"Mr and Mrs Yi", Director Zhao greeted them personally, "Welcome and thanks for the present, you shouldn't have".
"It's a must, wish you thousands happiness" Xiangzhe shaking Director Zhao's hand iUmmediately.
Director Zhao wanted to discuss with Xiangzhe regarding some collaboration matters.
Xiangzhe looked at Shanmei uneasily. "It's ok, you go ahead. I'll look for someone I know to talk to", she urges him to go ahead.
"Go get something to eat. I'll be right back", he was unwilling to let her go.
"Really don't worry, take your time", she said, smiling beautifully.
"Mrs Yi, I'm sorry, I'll return Mr Yi as soon as possible" Director Zhao joked and left with Xiangzhe to the study room.
Without Senior, Shanmei felt so lost. But she has gotten used to it for marrying such a capable man. She told herself to move on. After some ten minutes, Xiangzhe came out of the room and look for his wife iUmmediately. He saw her with a stranger, drinking a lot: rosy cheeks, dreamy eyes, sweet smile and her hugging gown.
Shanmei looked really stunning, he was jealous and hated himself for buying the gown!
He went over to them and took away the glass of wine the stranger is giving to Shanmei. "I'm sorry, she’s drunk".
"Senior, this is Mr Zheng, also graduated from Mass Communications and just came back from New York", Shanmei happily introduced them.
So this guy just came back, no wonder he doesn't know Ms Zhen is attached ?Senior thought to himself.
"I'm Steven, pleased to meet you"
"Pleased to meet you. Yi Xiangzhe" Although he is jealous, Xiangzhe graciously shook hands with Steven.
"Mr Yi, you are so lucky to have such a cute Ms Zhen as Junior"

Xiangzhe quickly continued what she wanted to say "Right, I'm really lucky cos Ms Zhen Shanmei is also my wife". And he put his hands around her waist.
Steven was shocked and disappointed.
Back home, Shanmei is still talking about the jokes Steven told her.
"How much did you drink? You think it's coke?" Xiangzhe was not interested in the jokes.
"It doesn't matter. I won't get drunk with wine" Shanmei said.
"Won't get drunk? Do you know how red is your face now?She looked really stunning with the rosy cheeks.
She touched her face and said, "But Steven is really funny"
"Zhen Shan Mei! First you drank so much with a stranger and now telling me how humorous he is! I’m so angry!" If he's not out of the room sooner, she may be taken away too ?he thought to himself.
"I'm sorry" She felt Senior looked really angry. She said innocently, "If you continue to be angry, I’m?going to shower first".
Looking at her back, Xiangzhe thought of his love for Shanmei. He shouldn't have been so petty, acting like a possessive husband. He thought he'll apologise to her and smile.
In the bathtub Shanmei was smiling. She felt like laughing out laugh. Senior always said she's a kid but he's acting like one tonight. But she's happy cos she knows she meant a lot to Senior. Just then Senior came into the bathroom.
SM: What's the matter, Senior? I'm not done yet.
XZ: I'm sorry, It's all my fault tonight
SM: Can't you wait till I'm done?
XZ: To prove my sincerity this matter can't wait.
And Senior decided to join Shanmei in the bathtub and she had no chance to said no.
