"JUST A WINK" CHAPTER 1 ~~~1

[FLASHBACK~10 YEARS AGO]

~In a High School at Seoul, South Korea~

It is a very bright and sunny day and the students are glad that it is break time already. Some students are playing in the fields, while some of them are in the classroom reading books or chatting with friends…

Meanwhile, in a classroom at the third floor of the building, there's a young girl, 15 years old. She is such a beauty with shoulder length hair and a beaming smile that can light up the whole room. She is known as Nicole Zhen. She is very friendly and a good companion. She can always capture everyone's heart whenever she smiles or laughs.

The bell rings and that means break time is over. Some students groan and frown as they trudge their way back to their classroom. They continue their lessons and at last, the long school day is finished. After gathering her things and bringing them to her locker, Nicole decides to go home. There's no extra-curricular activities after class.

She is walking home and when she is near to her house, something catches her eyes…

A large truck and boxes are outside the big house just next door to her house. She is very curious so she walks nearer to take a look.

"Who could be moving to this gloomy mansion anyway?" she asked herself as she tiptoed to see what's beyond the tall fence.

She sees a young boy, the same age as her, carrying some boxes inside the house. Nicole seems hypnotized by the boy's handsome face. When the boy returns outside to gather some more boxes, he notices Nicole peeking at their fence. He looks at her and Nicole is surprised to see the boy looking at her so she runs away.

The boy watches her run away from their new house. "Who could that be?" he said to himself.

"Kenneth! Come here and help me arrange our things!" said a female voice.

"Yes, Mother!" said Kenneth and he runs inside their house.

The boy is known as Kenneth Yin. He is an intelligent and a handsome young man. He and his mom just transferred in this small town. His mom chose this town because it is very peaceful and quiet. His parents are divorced and he hated his father so much for abandoning them for another woman.

"Kenneth, you are transferring to Seoul Senior High School tomorrow. Your uniform is already upstairs and also your school things. Remember now, you should do your best in there okay?" said his mother.

"Yes, Mother," said Kenneth as he arranged their things

In Nicole's place, she's having dinner with her father. Her mother is already dead and her father is the only one who took care of her since she's a child. They are swapping stories until Nicole asked something.

"Dad, do you know those people who just transferred to the gloomy mansion next door?"

Her father looked at her "Hmm… maybe, they are the Yin family. I know that they are very rich," said her father.

"I saw a boy the same age as mine. He's handsome…"

"Now, now Nicole. Don't tell me that you are in love with that boy!" teased her father.

Nicole blushed. "No, I'm not! I just find him handsome. That's all," said Nicole.

Her father laughs and teases her more…

"JUST A WINK" CHAPTER 1 ~~~2

Morning came and Nicole woke up as early as she could. She is charge of monitoring their class every morning and also with the help of some of her classmates, Erika and Warren, they cleans the classroom. It is 8:15 am when their classmates arrive.

The class starts at 8:30. Their teacher arrives and they sit on their own chairs.

"Good morning class. We have a new transfer student here. Please come in," said their teacher while motioning to someone outside.

A tall and handsome young man enters the room. Nicole can't believe that he is the boy that she saw yesterday and man, he is more handsome when you look at him from a closer distance.

Every girl in the classroom is also dumbstruck to see a very handsome young man still exists in this world.

"Please welcome Mr. Kenneth Yin. His family just transferred into our town yesterday," said their teacher.

"Nice to meet you everybody, I'm Kenneth Yin and I'm 15 years old. I hope I can enjoy my stay here," said Kenneth and he smiles.

Every girl immediately falls in love with him.

"So, Mr. Yin, you can sit behind those beautiful ladies. Ms. Zhen, could you raise your hand so Mr. Yin will know," said their teacher.

Nicole raises her hand and Kenneth proceeds forward to sit behind her.

"Isn't he gorgeous?" whispered Erika to her ears.

Nicole blushed lightly. She didn't take a look at Kenneth as he sat behind her. Every girl is furious and green with envy because Nicole is very lucky to have a very handsome boy sit behind her.

"Isn't she the girl that's peeking in our backyard yesterday? She's more beautiful when she's nearer," said Kenneth to himself.

Nicole felt that Kenneth is staring at her but still she didn't take a look. Their 3rd period is finished and it is break time already. Some of her classmates go out of the room to play outside even Erika and Warren can't be seen inside the room. Nicole reads her book instead searching for them. Kenneth is looking at some posters and a small bulletin board in their classroom. He is bored so he decides to just read a book.

He walks toward Nicole, without any notice, she looks at him and he also looks at her. Their eyes meet and without further ado, Kenneth 'winks' at her. It looks like a playful wink but it means more than that for Kenneth. Nicole blushes furiously at what happened and she continues reading her book. Kenneth sits down on his chair and reads his book too.

Nicole can't believe what is happening or what did happen.

"What did just happen? Why did I look at him at the first place? It's the first time a boy winked at me why it should be him? Oh, man!" said Nicole to herself still blushing furiously.

Kenneth smiles at her. "I hope she can get what my 'wink' means," he said to himself.

The bell rang again and that meant break time is over. Their classmates come inside the room and wait for their teacher.

Erika sat beside Nicole and saw her crimson face. "Did something happen?" she said to herself.

"Hey Nicole, what happened to you?" asked Erika in a whisper.

"Nothing…" said Nicole smiling.

Their teacher arrives.

Nicole can't concentrate on what she's doing. Voices are arguing in her mind. "That 'wink' means something… no it doesn't, that wink doesn't mean anything… Yes it does!!!…. No it doesn't!!!"

After school, Nicole gathered her things again and put them into her locker as usual. She is walking outside the building when she hears a voice.

"Ms. Zhen!" said a young man's voice that is very familiar to her.

She turned over to face him. "Yes Mr. Yin?" she asked.

Kenneth walks toward her. "I'm sorry if I startled you. I just want to ask you a favor," said Kenneth.

"What is it?" she asked once again, never looking at his electrifying eyes… his eyes are very beautiful.

"Can we walk home together?" asked Kenneth, catching his breath for he ran just to catch up with Nicole.

Nicole can't believe it. The boy who just winked at her, this handsome boy is asking her to walk home with him.

Nicole nods and they started walking. They don't speak to each other. It is just a silent walk.

Some people who saw them whispered to each other and said things such as "that couple are a good pair, aren't they?" or "they are so cute!" and "that couple are really compatible with each other."

Nicole and Kenneth can hear them and Nicole is blushing.

Kenneth noticed it and he smiles. "You're so cute whenever you blush like that Ms. Zhen," said Kenneth.

"I'm not blushing," said Nicole trying to look normal.

"By the way, I don't have a friend yet and I'm asking if it's ok with you if you could be my friend," asked Kenneth; he's hoping Nicole will accept his offer.

"Well, we are neighbors so why can't we become friends?" answered Nicole. She's so happy Kenneth asked that question.

"Then, can I call you Nicole? You can call me Kenneth if you want," said Kenneth.

"Sure," Nicole said and she smiles.

For Kenneth, this is the first time he saw such a very beautiful smile. He felt at ease as Nicole beamed at him.

The two became good friends. Kenneth always went to Nicole's house and fetched her whenever they went to school. Sometimes, at weekends, they biked together in the park or on the hill. The girls in their school were envious of Nicole because she seemed to capture the young man's heart. Nicole didn't know that Kenneth is falling in love with her. Also Kenneth didn't know that Nicole felt the same way towards him.

They hid their feelings for each other fearing that they will never be accepted.

Kenneth also befriended Nicole's childhood friends, Warren and Erika. One day, Kenneth confessed to Erika that he loves Nicole but he can't tell her the truth because he's afraid Nicole will reject him. Erika encouraged him to tell it; besides what if Nicole accepted him? Kenneth agreed that he would tell Nicole tomorrow morning.

Meanwhile… Kenneth and Erika didn't know that Nicole is confessing to Warren that she loved Kenneth and she also felt that Kenneth will reject her and their friendship will be ruined. But Warren encouraged her to confess what she felt because it's such a big loss if she didn't tell Kenneth. Nicole agreed with it and she decided that she will tell Kenneth tomorrow morning.

That night, Kenneth's mom had bad news to tell Kenneth...

"Kenneth, I have something to tell you… I don't know how to break this to you… but we are going back to London next week," said Kenneth's mom. She knew Kenneth would be devastated because she knew that Kenneth was in love with the girl next door.

"But Mom! Can't we just stay here? I really like this place! We stayed here for over 10 months! Please Mom. Let's stay here!" pleaded Kenneth.

"I'm really sorry Kenneth. But we can't. We should continue our business there," said his mom.

Kenneth looked sad. "If you want to tell something to that girl next door, you should tell her right away," said his mom before she went to her room.

Kenneth stayed at the living room thinking of Nicole… at Nicole's house, her dad also told her the bad news, that Kenneth and his mom will go back to London. Nicole cried inside her room. She will miss Kenneth. Tomorrow, she will tell Kenneth what she really felt for him…

"JUST A WINK" CHAPTER 1 ~~~4

Morning came… Nicole opened her eyes. She didn't like to get out of her bed. She wanted to stay there but she has a very important mission to do. She gets up from her bed and fixes herself. She just finished eating her breakfast when she hears someone calling her from outside.

It is Kenneth.

She informed her father that she would have a walk with Kenneth. She went out of the house and met Kenneth outside the gate. They had a long walk to the park until they settled in front of a fountain. They watched it as similar thoughts raced through their minds.

"This is the perfect time and place… I should tell him/her now," said Kenneth and Nicole to themselves.

"Kenneth" "Nicole" they both said in the same time.

They look at each other.

"You go first" they said together again. They smile at their own foolishness.

"Well. I have bad news for you Nicole…" started Kenneth.

"Yes, I heard it from my father. You and your mother will go back to London right?" said Nicole.

Kenneth looks sad and also Nicole.

"Yes… but that's not the only thing I want to say to you Nicole," said Kenneth as he faces her, his eyes full of love.

Kenneth grabs Nicole's hands and put it into a clasp. "Nicole, there's something I want to tell you. I love you Nicole, I can't tell you how much…I love you since the time I lay my eyes on you," said Kenneth lovingly.

Nicole can't believe it. She didn't know that the man she loves also loved her. Nicole looks at Kenneth's eyes with tears in her eyes.

"I also love you Kenneth! I really do! At first, I'm afraid that you will reject me, but I'm wrong…" said Nicole.

Kenneth hugs her tenderly

"It's okay now my dear, I'm afraid to say it to you too. But I have to and I'm glad you accepted me," said Kenneth as he glides his hand through Nicole's soft hair.

"But how long will you stay in London?" asked Nicole.

Kenneth feared that question and he's afraid to answer it…

"Kenneth?"

"Ten years Nicole… ten years."

Nicole is surprised. "Ten years! But that's like an eternity!" said Nicole.

"Yes I know… but I won't forget you Nicole. Let's make a promise in front of this fountain…" said Kenneth as he moves forward and faces the fountain. "I promise that I will never ever forget the girl I love with my whole life, Nicole Zhen. She will be the only girl I will love until we see each other again. And if that happened, we will never part again," said Kenneth solemnly.

Nicole repeats the oath. "Kenneth, I will miss you," said Nicole after a long pause.

"Me too Nicole," said Kenneth and he holds Nicole very close to him. He captures her lips with his and they kiss passionately. They seal their promise with this magical kiss.

After that, they decided to love each other every day until Kenneth's departure… a week passed and it is the day of Kenneth's departure. It is a weekend and Nicole can't find her strength to get out of her room. She refused to eat that day and she just stayed inside her room. Her heart is breaking but she had to be strong. As the afternoon is drifting away, Nicole watched the sunset through her window remembering Kenneth, they always watched the sunset on the top of the hill near the park.

"Can you see this Kenneth?" Nicole said to herself then she sees something at their gate. She leaves her room and goes outside to retrieve the thing that is placed between the bars of their gate.

It is a rose, a very beautiful red rose. Nicole gets it and sees a note. She reads it and it said:

"My dear Nicole, this rose is for you to keep. Remember that I will always love you until this rose withers and rots. Please remember too that I will never forget you. Your always be here in my heart. I hope that if we see each other again, that rose is still with you and I will find you at that fountain. I love you so much Nicole, always remember that.

Kenneth Yin"

Tears start falling down her cheeks. She looks at the rose wondering how can she preserve it. Then she notices that it is an artificial rose. Nicole got what Kenneth meant by that sentence.

Despite the tears and hurt, she tries to smile and said to herself, "Don't worry Kenneth. I will be strong and I will always wait for you. I will never forget you too; I'll treasure all the memories we have. I love you so much Kenneth," said Nicole and she looked at the sun as the horizon engulf it, waiting for another new day...

"JUST A WINK" CHAPTER 2 ~~~1

[PRESENT TIME~10 YEARS AFTER]

In MBC Building, Seoul, South Korea

Nicole grew up to be a very beautiful woman. She is now 25 years old, and she is working at MBC as a newscaster. She also works in the MBC radio station. Her childhood friends, Erika and Warren are also working in the company, Warren as the cameraman and Erika also a newscaster. Warren and Erika are now in a relationship. Nicole helped them to be together. She didn't have a boyfriend yet because she knew that the man of her dreams would fetch her, all she has to do is wait for him to return and fulfill his promise. Nicole was in deep thought about her man of dreams when Cielo interrupts her.

"Hey Nicole, let's go to the cafeteria and have lunch there. I'm starving…" she said as she looks at Nicole.

"Okay, just wait a minute," said Nicole and she fixes her things.

"Thinking of your dream man again?" said Cielo shaking her head. "Do you know that story you told me is very hard to believe? It's impossible to happen."

Nicole smiled at her. "It is true… and I know he will fulfill his promise," said Nicole while they walk through the corridor.

"it is already ten years since he left. If he will fulfill his promise then where is he?" Cielo argued.

Nicole just smiled but deep inside, she is also wondering. Where could he be? Did he already forget her? But that's impossible, he promised…

"Hey Nicole! Are you listening?" asked Cielo, a little irritated at her friend ignoring her.

"Ah, yes? What's that again?" said Nicole. She is too engrossed with her thoughts that she didn't hear Cielo's blabbering.

"You're hopeless… I asked if you already knew that our company would have a party. I don't know if it is a Christmas party or a welcome party or both…" said Cielo.

Nicole looks at her. "What welcome party? Who will be welcomed?" asked Nicole.

"I just heard it from the supervisors… it is the President's son. He will arrive in December to be our new Director, I also heard that he will be our president's successor," said Cielo.

They are now walking through the cafeteria. They see Warren, Erika and Choi, Cielo's boyfriend, in a corner eating their food. Nicole calls their attention and she sits beside them in the circular table while Cielo gets their food.

"Hey Erika, is it true that we will have a company party in December?" asked Nicole.

"Yes it is both a Christmas party and a welcoming party," said Erika.

"Welcome party for the President's son," said Warren.

"I also heard that the President's son is so handsome, like a prince charming. Nicole, why don't you try seducing the president's son? You are beautiful, charming and sexy and I know that the President's son will immediately fall in love with you. If not only for Cielo's blackmailing, I will court you instead. You see, you're the only one in our group who doesn't has a lover," said Choi.

"I heard that, Choi," said Cielo furiously as she puts down the tray where Nicole and her food is placed.

Nicole smiles as she watches the two arguing again.

"You know, Choi is right. You're the one who doesn't have a lover in our group. Will you still wait for him?" ask Erika.

"I will never forget him Erika. I know he will come back to me. He promised me," said Nicole still smiling.

They finished their lunch and they continued their work. They finished their work at 9:00 pm.

"Whew! At last it is finished!" said Choi.

"Well. I have to go now, Warren is waiting for me outside the building. Do you want to come with us Nicole?" asked Erika.

"No, I'll be fine by myself," said Nicole as she gathers her things.

"Okay then. See you tomorrow," said Erika and she leaves.

"How about you Cielo?" asked Choi.

Cielo, who's still angry with him, doesn't answer him... she dashes out of the room.

"Hey wait Cielo! I said sorry! Well, goodbye Nicole, see you tomorrow," said Choi and he dashes out of the room still shouting Cielo's name.

After she fixes everything, Nichol leaves the room and goes straight home.

"JUST A WINK" CHAPTER 2 ~~~2

She arrived at their house at exactly 10:00 pm.

"I'm home!" said Nicole the moment she enters her house.

"Daddy must be sleeping now," said Nicole and she goes straight to her room.

She takes a long shower. It is so relaxing… she sits down on her bed while wearing a bathrobe. Her eyes rest on the rose, not still withering. She gets it and smells it, the fragrance is still lingering on its artificial petals. Nicole remembers her days with the man of her dreams.

"Do you still remember those times my dear Kenneth? I hope you keep your promise… I'm still here waiting for you…" said Nicole.

December is approaching fast. The company announced to the whole staff that they are having a company party and it is both a Christmas and welcoming party. The party will be held at MBC grand ballroom on 24th of Dec. It is now Dec. 20 and she is shopping alone in a mall near their company building. She is planning to get her friends and her father some gifts. She bought Cielo a perfume, a cute bag for Erika, caps for Warren and Choi, and a sweater for her dad. She is now finished shopping.

When she got home, her father is not there. She goes to her room to wrap the gifts for her friends. She's wearing the bracelet she bought in a store.

"If you return here this month, I will give this to you as a present. If what the saleslady told me is true then we will never part our ways again if we both wear these bracelets," said Nicole as she puts a small velvet-lined box in her drawer.

Meanwhile…

~Seoul. International Airport~

A man in his late 20's is standing in the airport waiting for somebody. then a car arrives to pick him up. Inside the car is an elderly man in his 50's. The younger man sits down beside the elderly man.

"How are you?" asked the elderly man.

"I'm fine" replied the younger man in a cold voice. The elderly man notices the behavior of his child.

"I know it is hard for you to see your mom die… but you should accept it. As my successor…"

"I still resent you father. You abandoned us for another woman and you're not even at my mom's funeral. What kind of father are you? And now you need my help to be your successor? Remember this, I'm doing this for my mother not for you," said the young man.

The elderly man keeps quiet after that.

"We will have a welcoming party for you at the 24th of this month. Be sure to attend it." That's all he has to say after a long pause. As he sits beside his son, Mr. Yin, the President of MBC can't do anything. It is his entire fault why his only son, Kenneth Yin resents him…

They arrive at the hotel near the MBC building.

"Don't forget to attend the party ok? That is the only favor I will ask you. I'm going now," said Mr. Yin and he leaves his son.

After unpacking his things, Kenneth makes himself a cup of coffee. He drinks the coffee while looking out the window.

"Nothing changed that much… I'm already home Nicole… I hope you still keep your promise… just wait for me… we will see each other soon. If only I still know where you live," said Kenneth while remembering his past with his beloved. "I never failed to think of you everyday. You're still here in my heart through all of these years…"

"JUST A WINK" CHAPTER 2 ~~~3

The days passed by quickly and it is the 24th of December already. As what the company planned, the party will start at 7:00 pm. The party will start soon. Erika and Nicole are the center of attention because they are the most beautiful ladies in the party. Nicole is wearing a purple dress, simple yet elegant, while Erika wears a black dress with sequins and lace in some parts of the dress.

The party starts at exactly 7:00 pm. The emcee introduces the Board of Directors and President Yin, then introduces the guest of honor, Mr. Kenneth Yin, the son of President Yin. Nicole didn't hear his name because Cielo and Choi are blabbering again. She casts her eyes to the young man who's the President's son. As he thanks everyone for attending the party, Nicole is looking intensely at the young man…

"He looks familiar to me. But I don't know where I saw him…" said Nicole to herself.

After he finished his speech, Kenneth feels that someone is looking at him. He looks through the crowd but he can't find who it is. After an hour, food is now served. This time, it is much easier for Kenneth to look at the guests' faces. He finally looks at a table near the stage. It is composed of 3 women and 2 men. He looks at the young woman in the purple dress.

"She looks familiar…" he said to himself.

After they finish eating, they have a time to interact with each other. Some are dancing on the dancing floor. Erika and the others, except Nicole, have their own group. Nicole is all alone in a corner drinking her juice. Kenneth is looking for her and at last , he sees her. She is so charming and beautiful. Kenneth proceeds to her place but some businessmen talk to him. Nicole hears his voice and she sees him. Kenneth is also looking at her and as their eyes meet, Kenneth 'winks' at her.

Nicole is so surprised. That can't be… she remembers now… the way he winks is so familiar… it is how her Kenneth winked at her 10 years ago. She can still remember. But that can't be. Does it mean that the President's son is Kenneth Yin?

The businessmen finally leave Kenneth alone. Then he proceeds to Nicole's place. Nicole has her back turned to him. She can't face him…

"Excuse me, Miss…" Kenneth said.

Nicole slowly faces him.

Kenneth smiles at her. "Do you mind if I dance with you? I found out that you're the prettiest girl here… so can I dance with you?" ask Kenneth.

Nicole is dumbfounded. She can't decide if she will dance or not. Then she nods.

"That's good. Come on," said Kenneth and he holds Nicole's hand and they go to the dance floor.

Everyone in the room casts their eyes on the two while they make their way to the dance floor. Slow music is being played. It is Nicole's favorite song… 'You Can't Say' ... she didn't know that Kenneth requested the song…

Kenneth places his arms on Nicole's waist, and Nicole places her arms around Kenneth's neck. She is hesitant to do it at first but she has to. She doesn't want Kenneth to be embarrassed. As they dance, Kenneth is looking at Nicole but Nicole can't look at his eyes.

"Why don't you look at me? You have a very beautiful pair of eyes you know that," said Kenneth.

Nicole smiles, a shy smile. Kenneth smiles too.

"So how are you? Do you find some difficulties through all these 10 years, Miss Nicole Zhen?" asked Kenneth.

She looks at Kenneth, and Kenneth winks at her again.

"I know who you are and you don't have to pretend you didn't know me… I miss you Nicole…" Kenneth said as he looks into her eyes.

Nicole is still speechless, standing in front of her is her beloved Kenneth. He didn't forget, he still kept his promise! Kenneth's eyes are full of love, Nicole thinks. "I miss you too… I really do," said Nicole as her eyes brim with tears.

Kenneth wipes away Nicole's tears. "Don't worry, as I promised you, I will never leave again. I'll stay by your side forever my dear," said Kenneth as he hugs her.

Nicole hugs him back . their eyes are full of tears, tears of joy because her beloved Kenneth finally returned and kept his promise…

As Erika and Warren look at the two couple, they understand that Kenneth has returned. They are very happy for Nicole.

The party finishes at 10:00 pm, and everyone left. Kenneth is offering Nicole a ride home but Nicole refused. She said that tomorrow night, he should go to the fountain in the park where they made their promises. Kenneth agreed and he left.

Nicole rides in Warren's car with Erika, Cielo, and Choi.

"So you mean that the President's son, that very gorgeous and handsome hunk is the man of your dreams!?" said Cielo.

 "Yes," answered Nicole happily.

"You look happy now Nicole," said Erika.

"Yes I'm very glad!" said Nicole smiling…

Kenneth is very happy too. He never expected that he would see Nicole in the party… he planned to surprise Nicole tomorrow night too.

That night, both Kenneth and Nicole can't sleep. They are too excited for tomorrow to come.

"JUST A WINK" CHAPTER 2 ~~~4

~Christmas Day~

There is a party at the Zhen's residence. It is a small party just for them. Nicole distributes her gifts to her friends.

"Nicole, I heard some news that Kenneth finally arrived. Why didn't you invite him here?" asked Nicole's father.

"Well he is celebrating with his father…" said Nicole.

Her father accepts that excuse even though he knew that it's not true. Nicole is just shy to have company when they are around a crowd of people.

9:00 pm came… Nicole is sitting on the fountain's edge waiting for Kenneth. Then she hears some footsteps behind her. She turns around and sees Kenneth smiling at her.

"So what is this surprise of yours?" asked Kenneth.

"I just want to give this to you" said Nicole

It is a velvet-lined box. He opens it and sees a bracelet with a peridot bead and a pearl.

"Hey, do you know that my birth stone is peridot?" asked Kenneth as he puts on the precious bracelet.

"Yes, and my birth stone is the pearl," said Nicole.

"A saleslady says that that if two lovers wear this bracelet, they will never part. Their love will be stronger and if they ever part ways, fate will make them see each other again. Even the pearl can be seen in the deepest ocean and the peridot in the vastness of the universe, they will surely see each other for love is the strongest power a person can have," said Nicole, her face full of love.

"Thank you my dearest. I'll treasure this forever. Now, it's my turn to surprise you," said Kenneth.

Kenneth moves forward the fountain and he seems to be talking to someone. Then he returns to Nicole.

"Just watch…" he said and after a few minutes, the fountain is full of different colors of light.

Then fireworks are booming in the night sky. Nicole is surprised indeed. Then, Kenneth gives her a single red rose. It is the same rose he gave her 10 years ago.

"How did you get this?" asked Nicole but Kenneth just smiles.

Nicole didn't know that her father and friends are also behind this big surprise of Kenneth.

"I'm so happy when I met someone like you. My life became colorful like this fountain and the fireworks in the sky," said Kenneth.

He faces Nicole and grabs her left hand then he gets something from his pocket... it is a diamond ring.

"I love you so much Nicole. I won't leave you again. Will you marry me? " said Kenneth.

Nicole is moved to tears, she can't say nor do anything but nod, it is the way she says "yes".

Kenneth is so happy. He slides the ring onto her smooth and very soft finger, then he moves closer to Nicole and kisses her… it is like the kiss they shared ten years ago but it is much sweeter and full of love than the last one.

After they share their magical kiss once again. Nicole and Kenneth sit on the edge of the fountain to watch the fireworks…

Then Kenneth asked Nicole something. "Did you ever know that it is me the moment you look at me?"

Nicole looks at him.

"At first, no. but when you winked at me, I fully understood that it is you. No one could ever wink much sweeter and much nicer than you," said Nicole as she smiles.

"And you, how did you know that is me?" asked Nicole.

"Well, when I winked at you. You blushed furiously. No one can blush like you. You know that," said Kenneth.

They think back of the past… it all started when Kenneth winked at her. If that fateful coincidence didn't happen then they will never be happy like this.

"Hey Kenneth, do you know that I first fell in love with you when you winked at me?" said Nicole.

"And I fell in love with you when I saw your very beautiful face blushing," said Kenneth.

Both smile and laugh as they watch the beautiful fireworks in the night sky. They are thinking of what the future could be holding for them. All they know is that they will always love each other and no one can stop them for doing that… this event will always be a sweet memory for them, forever…
