She raises her champagne glass.

Joo-Hee............ Director Kim 'suggested' I start looking for another position.
Hyung-Chul....... How about a correspondent post in London?
Joo-Hee............ (laughs) Do I have another choice?

Wise to her wiles, Hyung-Chul stops her cold, pushing Young-Mi back.
Young-Mi.......... I know now ... Sun-Mi is the love of your life for good, right?
Hyung-Chul looks away and doesn't reply.
Young-Mi.......... I won't try to take her place from now on. Instead, I want to be your best partner at work.
....................... No matter what, I will never betray you.
Ep.15 - Outside Hyung-Chul's villa, night
Sun-Mi waits outside Hyung-Chul's villa for his return, when her mobile rings.
Sun-Mi.............. Hello?
Jin-Suk............. (V.O.) Sun-Mi, there's an emergency! Woo-Jin's at the police station. He was drunk and got into a fight.
As Sun-Mi runs off to catch a taxi to the police station, Hyung-Chul drives into the villa car park ...

Sun-Mi is at the street curb, waving at approaching traffic as she tries to hail a cab ...
A gray BMW slows and rolls to a stop beside her. The front passenger side window lowers.
When she sees the driver, Sun-Mi is astonished.
Sun-Mi.............. Senior?
He grins.
Hyung-Chul....... Going somewhere?
Sun-Mi.............. Yes ...
A guilty expression crosses her face.
Sun-Mi.............. It's Woo-Jin. He's in trouble.
Hyung-Chul....... Get in. I'll send you.
She hesitates, unsure ... then sees an unoccupied taxi approaching.
Sun-Mi.............. It's okay ... I have a ride.
Pointing to the cab, Sun-Mi steps forward and waves it down.
But as the taxi slows to pull over, Hyung-Chul moves his car forward, cutting the cab off.
The driver honks loudly, veering away, and drives off, cursing.
Sun-Mi.............. (upset) Senior! What are you doing!
Hyung-Chul....... I meant what I said. ... Get in!

Inside the car, the atmosphere is tense ...
Sun-Mi frowns unhappily, while Hyung-Chul drives off, seemingly unconerned by her pique.
Sun-Mi.............. You don't have to do this. It's not your concern!
He turns to look over at her.
Hyung-Chul....... If that was all, I'd agree with you. But I saw you leaving from my villa, and want to know why you came.
Hearing this. she drops her intransigence.
Sun-Mi.............. It's because I had something to tell you.

Sun-Mi expects him to pull her closer as before, but he doesn't.
Instead Hyung-Chul gazes at her intensely, as if trying to search out her thoughts, and transmit his.
She smiles shyly ... it doesn't require telepathy, to know his intentions ... as she recalls a previous 'good night' ...

FLASHBACK [Scene from Episode 13, at Sun-Mi's gate]
After celebrating Sun-Mi's 25th birthday, Hyung-Chul sends her home.
Hyung-Chul leans closer, puts his hand behind her head, and presses Sun-Mi forward, kissing her on the forehead ...
Hyung-Chul. I'm glad that you were born like this. I always want to make you happy.
Sun-Mi........ I never thought I was particularly lucky. But I think I was really lucky that I met you.

Suddenly it strikes her -- his intended contact point is not her forehead -- but about 10 cm lower.
Time slows, then crawls, as everything fades into obscurity except his dark, probing eyes ...

Then Sun-Mi hears the sound of a car passing, slowing with the slight squeal of brakes ...
Instantly, she opens her eyes and quickly draws away, red-faced when she sees a taxi has stopped in front of their car.
Notici ng her shy reaction. Hyung-Chul grins with amusement, which makes Sun-Mi blush even more.
But despite the suddenly awkward situation, Hyung-Chul keeps a tight hold on her hand.
She doesn't pull away ... his action says everything at this moment that words cannot.
They watch as a woman gets out of the cab. Someone familiar to Sun-Mi ...
Sun-Mi.............. Oh! ... That's Ms. Song. I have to go.
She turns to look at Hyung-Chul, the bashfulness gone.
Sun-Mi.............. I really meant what I said tonight, you have to believe me.
Hyung-Chul nods.
Sun-Mi.............. Thank you for sending me here.
Hyung-Chul....... Go out now. See you tomorrow.
She smiles the affirmative.
He gives her hand a final squeeze and releases it.
Sun-Mi alights and closes the door.
As Hyung-Chul drives away, she waves him off.
A smile rests on her lips as she imagines the possibilities when they will meet again ...
But her blissful thoughts are interrupted by a harried voice ...
Jin-Suk............. Sun-Mi? Is it you?
Sun-Mi's smile drops instantly as she turns toward Jin-Suk ...
Sun-Mi.............. Aunty, I just arrived, too. What are we going to do?
Jin-Suk............. Come on. Let's go in and find out ...
SCENE: Police Station, night
A police officer is interviewing the man fighting with Woo-Jin.
Officer.............. Address?
Man................. I told you this man hit me first!
Officer.............. I asked you what your address is.
Man................. Honestly.
Officer.............. Address?
Man................. Kang-Nam County, Ahb-Koo-Jung District.
Sun-Mi and Jin-Suk arrive at the station.
Jin-Suk............. (stuttering) Woo-Jin ...
Woo-Jin turns and looks at Sun-Mi and Jin-Suk. Jin-Suk and Sun-Mi stare at Woo-Jin's bloodied face.
Man................. I said that he punched me first.
Jin-Suk hurries over to Woo-Jin.
Jin-Suk............. Woo-Jin!
Jin-Suk touches his shoulder and hair.
Sun-Mi waits at the door, looking around the station uncomfortably.
Woo-Jin sits with a blank expression on his face.
SCENE: Woo-Jin's home, late night
Sun-Mi leaves Woo-Jin's room, closing the door.
She comes out and speaks to Jin-Suk, who is sitting on the sofa ...
Sun-Mi.............. Woo-Jin fell asleep. Aunty, you shouldn't be like this.
Jin-Suk............. Sun-Mi, I'm scared. I'm scared to see Woo-Jin ruined like this.
Sun-Mi.............. Aunty, it's all right. He's just off track a bit.

Hyung-Chul....... Ouch!
Joo-Hee............ (V.O.) Sorry, it was a bad day. I had a run-in with Writer Wu, and Young-Mi took his side. It was embarrassing.
She sighs.
Joo-Hee............ (V.O.)Maybe it's good that I'm moving on.
Hyung-Chul....... What did you tell Sun-Mi?
Joo-Hee............ (V.O) That if she's going to teach the new training batch, she needs to master the techniques herself.
Hyung-Chul....... Good. Thanks for taking this so well, Joo-Hee.
With her diversion successful, Joo-Hee moves to her real reason for calling ...

Lying in bed, sleep eludes Sun-Mi as she rehashes the night's happenings, and the future they portend.
Tomorrow is a day she wishes would never come ...
