Sun-Mi.............. Yes. I appreciate your confidence in me, but decided to take different direction.
Eun-Ki.............. You're going back to Director Yoon?
Sun-Mi.............. I intend to determine my own future, on my own terms.
He looks at her, gravely.
Eun-Ki.............. It could prove a precarious situation without a powerful supporter to back you.
....................... Perhaps you should reconsider my offer?
She smiles.
Sun-Mi.............. Perhaps, if I was without options for other opportunities.
Hearing this, he frowns.
Eun-Ki.............. Then ... are you being scouted?
Her lips twist ambiguously.

Eun-Ki waves him in, and he takes a seat at the table.
Tension crackles as the two rivals for the leadership of MBS sit face to face.
Hyung-Chul....... Did you invite me here to gloat?
Eun-Ki leans back in his chair, smug at having bested his rival.
Eun-Ki.............. I had intended to, but someone reminded me it's more noble to be magnanimous in victory.
Hyung-Chul....... Should I feel more comfortable with that?
Eun-Ki.............. As I see it, our 'friendly' competition was a win-win for the Company.
....................... Both programs achieved the top ratings in their time slots.
....................... So I have a proposal for you to consider, regarding the future of Eve's Morning.
Hyung-Chul....... What future? I thought you intended to cancel the program and replace it.
Eun-Ki.............. Instead, I've been persuaded to build on what we have and make it better.
....................... To accomplish that, I need your assent to become co-producer.
Hyung-Chul grits his teeth, but has no choice other than to consent to Eun-Ki's demand.
Hyung-Chul....... Very well. What do you want?
Eun-Ki.............. First, to bring Announcer Jin back on Eve's Morning.
....................... Capitalizing on her popularity will maximize the ratings. What do you think?
Surprised by the request, Hyung-Chul readily assents.
Hyung-Chul....... That makes sense. I suppose you want to change the main host?
Eun-Ki.............. Actually, Announcer Jin prefers to return to her former corner.
....................... However, the program PR should promote both Announcer Jin and Announcer Huh equally.

Sun-Mi.............. (V.O.) Kim Woo-Jin! We need to talk ... right now!
A camera crew is working in the MBS atrium.
PD................... Cue!
Jin-Soo and Cho-Jeh walk in and watch.
Cho-Jeh............ They must be filming. Then let's sit quietly and talk.
They sit down together.

They stop near the balcony railing.
There Sun-Mi catches her breath and starts scolding him.
Sun-Mi.............. I can't believe this. You are seeing Young-Mi again?
....................... I heard that you moved out because you wanted to marry her.
....................... Do you know how shocked I was when I got that call from your mom?
He looks down shamefully.
Woo-Jin............ It turned out like that.
Sun-Mi.............. Was that what you wanted to tell me before?
Woo-Jin looks up at Sun-Mi, then back down again without speaking.
Sun-Mi.............. Even after she did all that to you, you still want her?! How can you?!
Woo-Jin............ Stop it, Sun-Mi.

Hyung-Chul....... Not at all. I wanted to have a drink with you like this. It's good that you came.
Woo-Jin pours Hyung-Chul a drink.
Woo-Jin............ Well I ... I'm seeing Young-Mi again.
Hyung-Chul....... Really? That's great. Congratulations.
Woo-Jin laughs nervously.

Sun-Mi walks out of the front door of her house to meet Hyung-Chul.
She opens the gate to talk, but doesn't come out.
Sun-Mi.............. What is it at this time?
Hyung-Chul grabs her hand and starts to pull her along with him.
Caught by surprise, she protests.
Sun-Mi.............. Senior!
SCENE: Small park near Sun-Mi's home, night
Hyung-Chul leads Sun-Mi to the small park nearby, where they had gone before to talk privately.
She is still protesting his unusual behavior.
Sun-Mi.............. Senior! ... Senior, what's the matter with you?
Hyung-Chul drops her hand and they face each other.
Sun-Mi.............. I wanna go.
She turns and takes a step away, but Hyung-Chul grabs her hand again and spins her around to face him.
Hyung-Chul....... (sternly) You can't. I'm going to do things my way now.
Sun-Mi.............. Senior ...
Hyung-Chul....... I'm not going to listen to what you say. You're going to listen to me.
Sun-Mi takes a deep breath and resigns herself to listen.
Hyung-Chul....... I don't know how things got like this between us ... but it doesn't matter.
....................... From now on, just like me and think of me, I'll do that too.
Sun-Mi looks at him, tears rolling in her eyes.
Hyung-Chul....... All that time I knew you were hurting but pretended I didn't.
....................... Honestly, it was a hard time for me, too. I can't leave you like that anymore.
....................... I won't ever say we should break up again. I promise.
Sun-Mi's chin trembles as the tears overflow.
Hyung-Chul steps closer and pulls her into his embrace.
Crying, she leans against his shoulder for a few moments before they separate.
Hyung-Chul watches as Sun-Mi continues to cry, then he pushes her hair back from her face with his hand.
Sun-Mi sees his smile and bats his arm for making light of her.
Then she covers her face with her hand so he can't see her tears.
Once Sun-Mi has composed herself, Hyung-Chul takes her hands in his.
He puts his arm around her shoulders, and they walk out of the park, reunited again ...
